Our School History

New Horizons Preschool & Learning Center was established as a private Preschool accepting three and four-year-old children in 1983. After much demand from the growing community in 1986, a two-year-old classroom and Kindergarten were added as our Preschool classroom space expanded.

In 1987, the New Horizons program was established. Then between 1987 and 1995 New Horizons grew into a highly desirable multi-disciplined literacy-based program. In 1999, a new building with the addition of neighboring property, allowed New Horizons to expand the preschool from five to nine classrooms, while expanding from four to six classrooms. New Horizons Preschool & Learning Center sits on the corner of Nebraska Avenue and Belcher Road (21st Street) on three acres of wooded property.
